Basic Edits
These are edits that I do to all photos delivered to customers. They include corrections to things like white balance and exposure that I didn’t get right at the time we took the photo along with slight edits to the contrast of the image to create a more impact.
Clients can choose to stop here and they will have a beautiful image that shows them exactly as they looked on the day of the shoot.

Light Edits
Light edits start with removing imperfections from blemishes and other issues we all have each day. This does not include things like freckles or moles, those are part of who you are and will be left in place.
Next I will apply some adjustments to the eyes to add some ‘life’ to them that the camera doesn’t capture. These edits add light to the eyes along with highlighting the natural color of your eyes to make them ‘pop’ just a bit more.
Lastly, I will do sone LIGHT correction to the skin to make it more uniform. Studio lights (and sunlight) typically hits the skin inconsistently and results in highlights and differences in color that we don’t see with the naked eye.

Medium Edits
I will apply incrementally more edits to the skin tone to achieve a more uniform look while slightly enhancing the natural tone of your skin. It is often difficult to distinguish between Light and Medium edits without seeing the images side-by-side - that’s by design.
