Jon Rauschenberger
I am passionate about creating images of people that surprise and delight them. The smile someone sees when they see an image we created together is why I got into photography and why I chose to focus on photographing people.
Some of my favorite images are of people that were nervous and/or uncomfortable having their picture taken, but trusted me enough to enable us to create and image they love.
Before working full-time as a photographer, I helped found a software development company that grew to almost 200 employees. While I loved that experience and learned a great deal from it, I have never been happier than I am now working full-time as a photographer.
Outside of photography, I love riding bikes through the streets of Chicago, flying planes to see our kids latest endeavor, and spending time with our dog — Chestnut.

She is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever that is passionate about chasing tennis balls. She is in the studio with me most days, but is more than happy to stay at home if someone is coming in that prefers a dog-free space.
